The scattering of a loved ones ashes at sea  can be arranged at most locations around the Isle Of Wight and throughout the Solent.

Ashes can be cast from the boat or urns can be bought that initially float for a short period

If you intend to scatter ashes at sea it is as well to consider using a biodegradable urn. Often wind conditions in the Solent and around the Isle Of Wight do not lend themselves to a straightforward ash scattering.

We do keep a selection of  Journey Earth urns, Journey Earthurns are hand-crafted from sustainably produced and biodegradable mulberry paper. When placed in water they will float briefly and sink to the bottom, where they break down naturally over time.

The biodegradable urns will be delivered directly to your undertakers by ourselves. Urns will add an additional £60 to the cost, keepsakes another £20.
